ClimateMusic Project

MUSIC WORKS

Our shared efforts with the ClimateMusic Project organization gave shape and presence to two multimedia works realized in collaboration with a group of scientists who study the causes and effects of climate change to create, recommend and in some cases apply action towards solving and preventing the very present catastrophic consequences derived from the raise of the planet’s temperature, the diminishing capability of carbon dioxide reabsorption (as a result of deforestation) and investment in renewable sources of energy.

Discovery Realization

The first of the two works realized by AC2P’s Eduardo Del Signore, a 17 minutes Suite “Discovery Realization,” was released on February 2023 through Bandcamp independent music distribution, and digitally distributed for streaming audio engines via Songtradr.

Audyssey

Our second collaboration “Audyssey” had its private world premiere during the United Nations General Assembly Week on September 20th 2022 at a special gala dinner event in Manhattan, New York organized by the World Economic Forum, to introduce the concept of fighting climate change as an asset to dignitaries of different countries, UN officials and private multi-national corporation CEO’s, emphasizing on the inevitable consequence of not having a planet to develop and profit from if no action is taken.

Same afternoon, during “The Sustainable Development Impact Meetings 2022” at WEF Headquarters in Manhattan, interviewer Jane Burston, scientist Garret Boudinot and composer Eduardo Del Signore spoke “live online” during the “This Is What Climate Change Sounds Like” event, for the WEF network, with an estimated audience of 30 million people.

A second interview took place immediately after with AC2P Eduardo Del Signore, for the purpose of creating short videos dedicated to promote the efforts in social media realms. The resulting 2+ minutes a/v presentation got over 80000 clicks during the first week of its release.

Future Tense

A third collaboration with the CMP is on the works with a projected release this coming fall 2023, this time under the guidance of violinist/composer Scarlet Rivera in coproduction with Eduardo Del Signore, focusing on the effects of climate change on the planet natural habitats of the Amazon and Congo jungles named “Voice of the Animals”.
